Ashwagandha is a short perennial shrub that can grow 30 inches tall, with branches reaching 5 inches long. Ashwagandha, Withania somnifera, This native Indian plant, also known as “Indian ginseng”, is commonly used in Ayurvedic medicine and is named after its ability to give one “the stamina of a stallion.
Ashwagandha is also known by many other names:
